Former Eastern and Portland Trail Blazer center Kevin Duckworth died Monday evening in Gleneden Beach, Ore., at the age of 44. Duckworth was in Gleneden Beach to host a free basketball clinic sponsored by the Trail Blazers when he died in the small, coastal town on the Pacific.

Miami's Delta Chi chapter is suspended after failing to meet requirements of a previous sanction that were set to be complete in February.

Incoming freshman Dennis Roden died Aug. 16 after an all-terrain vehicle he was riding in collided with a police squad car in his hometown of Morris, said Morris Police Chief Brent Dite.
