Bellarmine's volleyball team kept its GLVC postseason tournament hopes alive on Saturday, winning their final home match of the season over Quincy University 3-0 (27-25, 25-15, 25-16).

The Knight's offensive attack was headed up by Emily Beckman's match-high 15 kills and .367 hitting percentage. Senior Caryn Schoeff, playing in her final match at Knights Hall, had 27 assists, six digs, and three assisted blocks in the victory, and fellow senior Kelly Krucki added two kills in her final home match.

The Hawks forced a tough first set with the Knights, but then appeared to run out of gas. The Knights jumped out to an 18-5 lead in the second set and never looked back, and then turned a 17-14 lead into a convincing 25-16 victory in the third and final set.

With the victory, the Knights improved to 13-8 overall. Their 6-6 record in GLVC play puts them in a tie for eighth place in the conference. The top eight teams in the conference make the postseason tournament.

The Knights will look to lock up a tournament spot this Friday and Saturday as they travel to take on conference foes Missouri-St. Louis and Missouri S& T.
