Women's cross country team ranked #25 in nation

Bellarmine's women's cross country has gained national recognition after taking second in last week's GLVC Cross Country Championship. The latest poll by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has the Knights ranked #25 in the nation.
In addition to the national ranking, the Knights moved up to No. 5 in the Midwest Regional rankings.
Led by Carissa Martin and Cristin Samuel's top-10 finishes, the Knights placed second in last week's GLVC Championship, marking their highest-ever finish in the event.
Next up for the Knights is the NCAA Regionals, held Friday at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
