If you do not spend much time down by Owsley B. Frazier Stadium, you probably have not noticed the new construction that is being done.

Finally, they are building locker rooms for the teams that participate on the field. If you are familiar with the layout of the athletic facilities here at Bellarmine, you know that everything is located in Knights Hall. This causes major problems for any athlete that practices down at the stadium. Athletes have to travel across campus to and from practice.

"It is about time" says Bellarmine Lacrosse coach Jack McGetrick. "The addition of the dressing rooms in the stadium is the next step to taking our program's facilities to the next level."

Even with all the positive vibes coming from the construction of new locker rooms, there is a major factor that is slowing the completion: the weather.

The weather is winning this battle as of now, but construction workers are working through this frightful weather to keep this promise. Right now, workers are positive that spring athletes will have a new home as of this week.
